Sharing Fire Prevention Knowledge to 130 Members of Scout Movement

As many as 130 members of Scout Movement were educated about fire prevention through the North Jakarta and Thousand Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency on Karya Island, North Thousand Islands, on Monday (10/28).

North Thousand Islands Sector VII Head Nugroho Dwi Utomo expressed participants are members of Scout movement who are conducting a series of Youth Social Expedition activities to Pramuka Island and Karya Island.

"We share about fire prevention in theory and practice using traditional tool portable fire extinguisher (APAR)," he told.

Cakung Citizens Trained How to Anticipate and Face Fire Incident

Through this education, it is expected to minimize fire case as early as possible.

Syafrudin (17), one of participants admitted it is very useful and helpful, moreover this is the first time he attended an event like this.

"It's nice to be able to get new knowledge and practice, hopefully the knowledge is useful," he stated.
